Following Christ means carrying our own cross. It is not an easy road. Yet even behind the prison bars of life’s trials, the path to Calvary still leads to light. When we look toward the cross, we remember that no sacrifice made in faith is ever wasted.
When we lose ourselves in love for others, we find the life Christ promised. True discipleship is not about self-preservation but self-giving. Its offering kindness where it is least expected and most needed.
He who loses his life for Christ’s sake shall find it. When we turn our hearts to God’s word, we discover a truer life. It is one not measured by what we keep, but by what we are willing to give.
